Chiante Is a highly skilled registered nurse with over 22 years of experience critiquing and analyzing care in various healthcare settings. She spent the first five years of her nursing career working with geriatric patients and skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute units, and Hospice care. At that point in her career, she became a director of a 120-bed assisted living facility where she oversaw and managed all the resident’s care.

On her days off she worked registry and hospitals all over Southern California which included various units such as medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology, ER, urgent care, acute inpatient rehab, and the detention unit alongside inmates needing skilled nursing care. In addition, Chiante worked as a pediatric transplant home health nurse for many years. She also worked as a private duty nurse for patients requiring 1 on 1 care.

 

Chiante is exceptionally experienced in the insurance industry where she worked for a worker’s compensation firm. Not to mention she works for a 5-star leading health insurance company where she is extremely knowledgeable regarding the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She has always been attracted to the relationship between nursing and law. During her career, she made split-second decisions that were the difference between life and death of her patient’s being a nurse for many years she ran into legality issues regarding her patients and had to deal with each situation accordingly.

 

Stepping out of her comfort zone she obtained her legal nurse consulting certification from the California State University of Long Beach and the Vicki Milazzo Institute. Chiante Is described by her peers and colleagues as a compassionate, professional, reliable, trustworthy, and driven individual. She has spent her entire life dedicated to serving others throughout the health care industry. Her vast wealth of knowledge is based on evidence-based practices.
